Delivery

Postage

We offer a Recorded Delivery service at a cost of 5.99 no matter how many items you order. Please note this service does require a signature. Please allow between 4-5 days for UK delivery. Royal Mail will only accept goods are lost after 15 working days. If the item is too large for your letterbox or there is no one available to sign for it, it will be taken to your local sorting office for you to collect.

PlanetFancydress cannot be held responsible for non delivery of goods after being dispatched from us. This includes damage in transit and strike action. At peak times ie Halloween & Christmas, please make sure you order in good time.

Dispatch

We try to dispatch your order within 48 hours subject to stock availability. We cannot ship on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays due to no delivery service. Deliveries are subject to stock availability.

Card Security

All credit card purchases are processed by Sage Pay. We do not keep any credit card details on our system. We do not pass on any secure information to third parties.

VAT

The standard rate of Vat is charged on all purchases. Children's costumes are exempt from vat.

Returns Policy

Any goods purchased from Planet Fancydress can be returned within 14 days of receipt of delivery to yourself. The cost of return postage will be your liability, unless PlanetFancydress are at fault or the item is damaged. In this instance we will refund the basic postage costs, please obtain proof of postage for your records. Please note all items are checked before dispatch. You may return by Recorded Delivery, however we will not pay this extra cost.

All goods must be kept in their original condition ie not worn (apart from trying them on). All packaging must be intact. We will refuse a refund for any product damaged in any way. This includes any make-up stains ,smelling of nicotine, perfume or deodorant, items that have been stretched or any other damage deemed so by PlanetFancydress. Faulty products will be replaced with the same product if available or refunded back to the customer if requested. Wrong size products will be replaced with the same product in an alternative size wherever available or refunded back at customer request.

If an exchange is not required a refund will be issued for the cost of the goods only, unless damaged. We do not offer a refund after a 14 day period from delivery. Any goods returned outside of our returns policy date will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Before sending the parcel back to us, please contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number. You will be asked for the reason for the return plus whether the item has been used. In addition, you will need to confirm your name, order number and postcode, so please have these available if you telephone. You will need to include this Returns Number with your parcel back to us as failure to do so may result in delay of any refund.

Items such as stockings, panties and wigs adhere to our strict policy and we ask our customers not to open or try-on any of these products until they are happy it suits their needs. For items such as contact lenses the packaging will need to be unopened and without exception not tried on or tested. This is for obvious hygienic reasons. Any of these items returned might not be refunded if found to be worn.

All prices are correct at time of publication. We reserve the right to change, alter or amend any price at any time without notice. Should a product price decrease since an original purchase, contractually we are not obligated to refund the difference. Similarly, should an increase occur prior to purchase, we are not obligated to sell at the previous lower price.

At this moment in time we regret that we are unable to dispatch items outside of the UK.
